Richard Ussher

In 2009 Richard Ussher switched codes from adventure racing to long-distance triathlons. He chose Tineli to produce his entire racing uniform.

We created an eye catching design to help his sponsors stand out and we applied it to all the types of garments he needed for training and competition. Now he's NZ's fastest ever iron-distance triathlete.

SRAM Tour de Ranges

First Tier Events approached Tineli about souvenir jerseys for a new event, the SRAM Tour de Ranges.

They wanted to hit the ground running with merchandise that would be a valued souvenir for the riders and promote the event for years to come.

In conjunction with event co-sponsor Ricoh, we gave a free pair of shorts to the first 100 riders to buy a souvenir jersey when they entered online. After just 8 hours we'd sold out. In total over 250 jerseys were sold.

Forrest Grape Ride

After winning the New Zealand Association of Event Professionals "Best Established Event" award in 2008 the Grape Ride organisers decided to further enhance the quality of every aspect of the event.

They approached Tineli to produce a souvenir jersey that complimented the award winning level of the event.

In 2009 Tineli designed and produced the event merchandise and their sales doubled.

Karapoti Classic

The Karapoti Classic is New Zealand's premier mountain bike event and has been running annually since 1986.

They chose Tineli to produce not only their souvenir cycling jerseys and shorts, but also the official event t-shirts.

In addition to supplying the clothing, Tineli owner Tim Vincent has a particularly close bond with the Karapoti Classic having won it in 2001, 2003 and 2005 (and the tire changing competition in 2005 and 2007).

Xterra Rotorua Festival

The Xterra Rotorua Festival is considered the world's largest single day of Xterra off-road festivities with 2200 people taking part in individual and teams events.

As the official clothing supplier, Tineli worked with the existing Xterra branding to produce souvenir cycling clothing, t-shirts and polo shirts.

Benchmark Homes Cycling Team

The Benchmark Homes Cycling Team is an elite team that has been racing since 2004. The team is managed by Brendan Hart, who, as a former NZ representative cyclist, recognises the importance of a good team uniform to present a professional image and mantain team spirit.

He chose Tineli to design and produce the team's racing uniform because of our reputation for modern attractive designs and the comfort and durability of our garments.

Each year we refresh the team uniform design to keep it modern while working within the corporate identity guidelines of the major sponsor Benchmark Homes.
