Windtex and Respira
Windtex and Respira are two competing waterproof, windproof and breathable fabrics.
The waterproof and breathable properties come from the active membrane which is sandwidged between an outer and inner layer that are best suited for the particular garment.
For our thermal jackets it is bonded with a thicker outer layer and a fleecy inner liner to give it exceptional thermal properties at 320gsm (grams per square metre).
Our Rena, Inverno and winter custom jackets are all 320gsm and are rated down to 0 degrees.
A lighter inner and outer can be used to give a 130gsm weight as used in our custom vests. The fabric is waterproof and breathable and are compact enough to easily fit in your back pocket.
This flexibility and function are ideal for cycling as both weights allow perspiration to be wicked away, keeping you comfortable.

| Velors
Velors is a fast drying, super-stretchy, breathable fabric that couples a fine, soft polyester fleece to a LycraŽ/nylon outer surface for the ultimate cold-weather covering.
It is a top of the line fleeced fabric with excellent elasticity. It is very durable and has excellent thermal features making it ideal for tights and for arm and legwarmers.

 | Tinelisoft
TineliSoft is a 100% polyester thermal fabric. The outer surface is textured and the inner surface is fleeced. It is warm and has excellent wicking properties.
- Fleeced backing traps air to retain body warmth.
- Flexible for an optimal fit, without unnecessary bulk.
- Antibacterial.
- High moisture wicking ability.

Dye-sublimation is a process where dye is heated until it becomes gaseous, and the gaseous dye then penetrates the fibers of the garment and solidifies within the fibres when the heat is removed.
The fact that the dye is contained within the fibres is a major advantage over other printing methods. It means the print does not affect the breathability of the fabric and the colour is permanent. |
